CAR SHOWROOM

Objective

A car showroom needs a high-quality system that is visually and aesthetically pleasing. The system matches the vehicles presented in the car showroom. A simple-to-operate discreet background audio system is to be supplied that offers automated advertisement sound clips.

CONCEPT

The showroom sports four wall-mounted 6FP100T loudspeakers, the workshop two further 6FP100T in suspended downward firing position. All loudspeakers are powered using two 2SDL160 twin channel amplifiers running in mono mode, and fed from a HMA72 zone mixer. Zone A controls the showroom, zone B the workshop. The HMA72 offers audio playback via a number of options. Wireless audio streaming, hardwired via rear-mount RCA inputs, or by front-mounted 3.5mm auxiliary input. The evacuation features of the HMA72 are connected to a separate fire alarm system.

The amplifiers and the zone mixer are installed in a secure room away from customer eyes, and the HMA72 is controlled via a HZE11 wall panel, for volume and source control for both zones by the reception staff. A HPA61 paging desktop microphone is installed for announcements.
